Marcy Huffaker
Marcy earned her Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois and has been designing ecological landscapes for over 25 years. She is a long-time resident of Baraboo, Wisconsin and enjoys maintaining the prairies and gardens where she lives with her family, along the Wisconsin River. Connor Rudmann
Connor earned his Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona (near Los Angeles) where he honed his design skills and technical knowledge. He now lives in Monona, Wisconsin with his wife and young daughter. Connor specializes in site planning, international garden styles, irrigation design, and custom landscape structures.

Giveaway Details:
Sponsored by Deep Roots Ecological Design (a division of EC3 Environmental Consulting Group Inc.), this sweepstakes will last until March 1st, 2026, when two lucky contestants will be chosen to receive a complementary backyard or frontyard landscape design, including a planting plan and the design of up to two hardscape features. An additional 10 entrants will be offered a discounted landscape plan, and the remaining entrants will be given exclusive access to Deep Roots / EC3 educational content, including DIY landscaping videos and design ideas.
No purchase is necessary to enter, but some terms and conditions do apply:
- Residential landscapes only.
- Must be located within 30 miles of Madison, Wisconsin.
- Limit one entry per address.
- Entrant must be property owner and/or legal family member of owner.
- Winning landscape designs may only be installed by EC3 / Deep Roots and cannot be shared for public bid.
*Free, custom landscape plan includes preparation of an illustrative site plan for either a backyard or frontyard landscape (10,000 sqft. area maximum), including planting plan and design of up to two hardscape features. LANDSCAPE INSTALLATION NOT INCLUDED.
