Trek staff wanted a place to gather…we created a landscape where plants, pollinators, and other wildlife could gather as well. Working closely with landscape designer Marcy Huffaker, EC3 helped restore native prairie to the “Off Road Bicycle Testing Area,” a natural mountain bike circuit on the Trek corporate campus in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
At the top of the Bicycle Testing Area lies “The Lodge,” a rustic gathering place for Trek employees and guests where more formal native landscaping transitions into the wild prairie of the bike trails.
